Motel On York

Excellent location, easy few minutes walk to city centre and there is a little "secret" alleyway directly opposite the motel that takes you almost directly to the octagon. Many restaurant choices within walking distance, reserve your table ahead. Room was warm and spotless, bed was comfy and the best sleep I've had in years. Lovely patio area with view over city. Friendly staff. Parking available at property. Even though the location is city centre there was no noise from traffic. Highly recommend Motel on York.

Great location, good sized room and bathroom, nice toiletries, Free Netflix which was great. The host was helpful and showed me to my room and also how to open the door with the card key. The guest folder was full of information. Good parking. Not too far from the Park Run at the Botanic Gardens.

Very well located, being close to The Octagon, but not a particularly busy street. Rooms very spacious with a separate kitchen/lounge and bedroom - more like a small self-contained unit. Well equipped and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. A lot to like but not outstanding.

We were on the top floor at the back and it was quiet. 5 min walk to the central bus station. The kitchen was well equipped, even kitchen paper towels were there. The laundry was free and the dryer cost 2 dollars. Non smoking throughout, also outside. Thank you!

The staff were friendly, easy to talk to and gave good local info. The whole place was spotless.Spacious room and very comfortable bed.The shower was a bit small for my man 😜 ( he's 6ft 1).It was great to have an on site laundry and detergent was provided. And there was plenty of onsite parking.This is a good location for the city centre.
